So, Take Me Through the Order Process.

We try to make it easy. It all begins with a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The easiest way to send in an RFQ is to use our “Request Quote” tab on our website – FortressDisplay.com. Fill in the on-line form and you’ll get your quotation in twenty-four hours. Please make sure that you include all the information we need to accurately quote you, e.g., do you have a loading dock at your facility or should we quote liftgate delivery. If you have questions/comments, get in touch and we’ll respond promptly, via email or phone. Once questions, if any, have been addressed and you get to the point that you want to order, either call or email us indicating what it is you want to order. Upon receipt we’ll prepare an Order Confirmation (OC) – again, within twenty-four hours. We’ll email you the OC, asking you to carefully review it to ensure that it’s correct as to what’s being ordered and name/address information. We ask you to sign and return it to us, including completion of ACH form if you choose to pay that way. NOTE: We accept check or ACH. Once you’ve returned it to us, with payment as per terms, the order goes in the production queue. Lead-times vary but are generally on the order of four to five weeks. Lead-time means from receipt of signed OC to having the order assembled on the loading dock at our plant – ready to ship. When production is complete, the order is loaded for shipment and arrives at your site. That’s it. Couldn’t be simpler.

Fortress Display was able to withstand 15 minutes of attempts to penetrate the case using sledgehammers. That caught my eye. What if a thief attempts to make off with the display itself.

Two things.  Physics and you.  First the physics.  The display weighs about 400 lbs. empty.  Add fifty to one-hundred lbs. for the displayed guns and gross weight is 450 to 500 lbs.  The display is 48” long and 44” tall and 22” deep.  The combination of weight and overall size pretty well means that the “physics” of lifting and taking the item are pretty near impossible.  And remember time.  These guys are always in a hurry for obvious reasons.  Any attempt to make off with the display would not win them any speed medals.

Now here’s where you come in.  The displays have floor-mount holes in the bottom of the unit, allowing the display to be bolted to the floor.  Additionally, the displays have holes in the side of the frame (beneath the display area), allowing for the displays to be bolted to one another.  You can do either or both.  If you wear a belt or suspenders, do one or the other.  If you wear a belt and suspenders, do both.  Your choice.

So, while the frame and “glass” will take care of the sledgehammers, physics and you can take care of any concern that one would make off with the display.  Won’t happen.  That’s why we encourage you to display your merchandise in a “Fortress.”

How much does it cost to ship to me?

Please submit a quote request and we'll send a quote including shipping costs within 24 hours.  We ship two display cases per pallet.  They are fastened to the pallet, wrapped with protective panels, covered and strapped.  Each pallet is 47" wide x 52" long x 50" high.  Liftgate service will be arranged if you do not have a receiving dock. Liftgate service lowers the pallets to the ground from a back of a truck.  Shipping weight for one counter display is 550.  Two displays are 1050 pounds.

Can I customize my displays?

No, but maybe…

The display size is based on material yield and production volume. It cannot be customized except at large quantity. Our color scheme is the best for making all types of product stand out. Powder coat colors can be customized but it is more expensive and increases lead time.

What sizes do you sell?

All of our displays are 48" wide.  Please see individual displays pages to see more detail.  We do not make a 5' or 6' display.  A larger span of polycarbonate compromises security.  We do sell corner cabinets and 1 foot and 2 foot filler cabinets.
